AKD wax is packed in 25kg plastic bag, or according to the customer’ request. Transportation should be made avoiding sunshine, rainfall, or other external impact. It is suggested that it be handled with great care, stored in dry shade, and the temperature shall not exceed 35 °C. Usually the warranty is 8 months since the date of production.

AKD (Alkyl Ketene Dimer) Wax is obtained from fatty acids (C>12) which is via acylation and dehydrochlorination, which is a kind of fiber reactive neutral sizing agent, with high content of effective component, high iodine value and low acidity. It is an efficient sizing agent, especially suitable for the environmental protection requirements.
